Here at Seek 27:8 Youth Ministries, we disciple our youth to...

  • Understand that their relationship with Jesus is unique.  Everybody will hear and respond to the Lord differently, so we encourage them not to worry if their form of worship/relationship to the Lord isn't the same as that of someone else.
  • Hear from God.  Everyone can hear the Lord speak -- sometimes we just need a little help in discovering our "language" with the Lord.
  • Live pure lives.  Purity is a huge part of our walk with the Lord.  We teach them that lack of purity or lack of restraint can really put us in a bad place.  We want them to understand how immensely important is every choice they make.
  • Care about Justice issues, such as loving the lost, taking care of the needy, praying for the sick, and defending those who cannot defend themselves (being careful to stress that defending does not mean fighting).
  • Love the Lord with their hearts and see Him in everything they do.

"Let our sons in their youth be as grown up plants, and our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace."
